2010 Lt. Job Lane Elementary School, Bedford, MA Nintendo Magazine - Certain issues had images from video games depicting violence inappropriate for elementary school students. A parent objected, and the principal and I agreed to pull the magazine and we did not renew the subscription. Little Lit comic book - The word Hell appeared in the text and a parent objected, so we removed the book from our collection.
The principal and I agreed that the overall content of each book was not of sufficient educational value to warrant an official challenge/defense procedure.
